Patrick Vandergriff, Board President
Mr. Vandergriff is a highly ranked contract instructor for the International Code Council.
He has received numerous awards and certifications from the New Mexico Home Builder's Association of the NAHB, ICC and other organizations for his work in code development and adoption of International Codes in New Mexico and throughout the United States.
Mr. Vandergriff has served as a subject matter expert on several training programs, and the preparation of test quetions on all areas of construction related codes.
He is a charter member of the New Mexico Building Official's Association and Southern New Mexico Association of Building Officials. He served as the Chief Building Official for the City of Alamogordo New Mexico. He also served as the Director of Construction Industries Division for the State of New Mexico.

CAPPED Staff make things happen . . .
Tresa VanWinkle, RN is Executive Director and Founder of CAPPED, Inc. (Cancer Awareness, Prevalence, Prevention and Early Detection), a grassroots nonprofit cancer prevention and support center in rural New Mexico. She has served as an RN in hospital, home care and private settings and as a nurse inventor and entrepreneur. She has published works on nursing, pain control, breast cancer and holds four patents.
Tresa is well known as “The Speaker with a Vision” in Otero County, where she has made more than 550 community presentations on cancer prevention and support since 2000. Her vision is to create a nationwide, community based health education network to help individuals learn health promotion and disease prevention from early childhood through old age. To this end, she has dedicated her life.
Tresa believes in CAPPED's Vision: "A World without Cancer and Other Preventable Disease", and she is actively working toward makeing this vision a reality.
