Our Vision:
|
About CAPPEDCAPPED owes its beginnings to the wonderful Volunteers and the businesses and civic organizations who shared in the vision and donated their time, talent and dollars to make CAPPED a reality. The CAPPED "puzzle" (right) was originally designed to bring all the people who would benefit from CAPPED to the table: youth, business partners, working people, senior citizens, civic heroes, and the $100,000 Club. These are all brought together by the pieces in the middle of the puzzle - representing the men, women and children of Otero County and New Mexico - who are at the heart of our efforts.
We have come a long way in the past few years, but there is still a long way to go. We know today that Primary Prevention is the Key to LIFE LONG HEALTH. There will always be those who need education and assistance; your help is invaluable to us. For information on making a donation, or volunteering phone CAPPED, Inc. at (575) 434-HOPE (4673) |
Entering The CAPPED Building, 907 New York Ave., Alamogordo, NM
On June 17, 2003 the CAPPED building opened it's doors to the public. If they could have seen the transformational remodeling that had taken place, they would have been astounded! Our volunteers and supporting organizations all came through to turn the CAPPED dream into reality; now the Alamogordo area has a place to teach, support, and comfort those who are dealing with the terrible consequences of cancer. To all our Angels, THANK YOU! And to those whom we serve, just look at the wonderful things they did!
