CAPPED is a 501 (C)(3) grassroots New Mexico non-profit organization.
Our Mission: To make New Mexico #1 in the nation in the primary prevention of cancer and other preventable disease.
We are dedicated to the primary prevention of cancer and other preventable diseases through education, support services and community activism.
We believe the key to good health is primary prevention . . .
strengthening the body by reducing nutritional, environmental, psychological and spiritual stressors.
We are witnessing the dawning of a new age of health care wherein:
1. Health Care professionals of all disciplines work collaboratively. 2. Individuals take responsibility for their contribution to health or illness. 3. Needless suffering is prevented. 4. Future generations inherit a priceless gift . . . the legacy of lifelong health!
The CAPPED Building opened on June 17, 2003 and stands proudly as a tribute to Volunteerism. Volunteer hands provided 90-95% of the labor for the remodeling.
NOTE: Video above created through the collaborative efforts of Phyllis Duncan, writer and Kelvin Hargrove, filmer/producer and is being broadcast by Baja. CAPPED sends our sincere thanks to each!
